Shenzhen Raybow Opto offers a rich choice of characterization and testing equipment, covering four different aspects of testing high-power semiconductor lasers, including (1) BT1000 bar tester : The BT1000 automatically measures the PIV, optical spectrum and far-field divergence characteristics of each individual laser chips on bare laser bars under CW and pulsed current, providing customers an efficient method of screening unpackaged laser chips. The BT1000 hosts multiple bare bars in one run and is capable of testing up to 500 individual laser chips per hour. (2)CT1000 COS and C-mount tester: The CT1000 characterizes PIV, optical spectrum and far-field divergence of a laser chip mounted on a submount or a C-mount heat sink with the current up to 25A. (3)LT1000 burn-in and lifetest system: The LT1000 is capable of simultaneously aging up to 100 COS or C-mount mounted laser chips, with the current up to 20A. The laser chips under aging are protected within a class-100 clean environment. The optical power, optical spectrum, current, voltage and temperatures are monitored and recorded in real time, making the LT1000 one of the most powerful tools in the world for evaluating the reliability of high-power semiconductor lasers. (4)MT1000 module tester: The MT1000 characterizes PIV, optical spectrum and beam divergence of a laser module with the current up to 20A and the voltage up to 40 volt. The MT1000 is ideally suited for testing a fiber-pigtailed laser module consisting of multiple diodes connected electrically in series.

Every testing equipment is built upon Raybow Opto’s experience of precise temperature control, rapid heat removal, suppression of harmful electrical and optical transients, automation and fixture customization, and is controlled by an user-friendly computer software. Raybow Opto can work with a customer to design a testing system and the data analysis tool to meet each customer’s particular needs of testing semiconductor lasers.
